I’m an Asheville photographer living in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband and our two children. I photograph proposals, engagements, and maternity, and I’m happiest when there’s real emotion unfolding in front of my camera.
I love the anticipation of a surprise proposal and everything that follows. The disbelief, the laughter, the way two people hold each other when it finally sinks in. That excitement carries into the portraits afterward, and it’s one of my favorite things to photograph.
I also love the creativity of a session we shape together. Exploring a mountain trail, trying a playful idea, or letting the wind catch a flowing maternity dress. You bring your personality and connection, and I bring gentle guidance and an eye for light, movement, and the little details.
You don’t have to know how to pose or feel confident in front of a camera. We’ll take our time, get comfortable, and leave room for moments that happen naturally. My hope is that you’ll enjoy the experience and leave with photographs that bring you back to how it felt.

what draws me in
I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors. Hiking, exploring, and spending time in the mountains are part of my life, so it feels natural to bring that love into my photography.
A beautiful setting gives us somewhere to begin. What holds my attention is what happens within it. A spontaneous laugh, an unexpected reaction, a quiet touch, or a couple completely caught up in each other.
I enjoy making space for those moments and finding creative ways to photograph them. Sometimes that means stepping back and watching. Sometimes it means suggesting movement or trying a different perspective.
Becoming a mother has also deepened my appreciation for photographs. With two children of my own, I know how quickly life changes and how much an image can help us remember. That’s something I carry into every session, whether I’m photographing the beginning of a marriage or the anticipation of a new baby.
