Kristen and Thomas are such amazing clients to work with! These two got married 2 years ago – they eloped at Maggie Valley. They are super fun, silly, and don’t take themselves too seriously, which I love! They didn’t love their photos and they wanted a chance to re-take them. So we did! As you can see from the photos, this is such a relaxed session that went smoothly and effortlessly. Not to mention, they are beautiful together, and I’m so glad they made the decision to document sweet moments together!
Double Take at Black Balsam
We went up to Black Balsam and had an adventure wedding photo shoot. It rained all afternoon, but luckily cleared up for us our timing was perfect. We had the place to ourselves! How nice it is being atop the beautiful mountain range in the post-rain weather with no one around. Just look how this couple lets loose and focuses on what brought them to each other and to the session.
Seeing these two put their wedding get ups on again warmed my heart. It brings back all the memories of their best day ever and ignites a spark in their eyes as a reminder of the love that they share so strongly. Re-doing their elopement photos is something I think was necessary for Kristen and Thomas. With such a significant life event, it is so important that they are absolutely in love with the outcome.
