Wow this was such a stunning morning up at Craggy!  Originally Andy had contacted me to capture his surprise proposal to Shae, but he ended up proposing to her the weekend before while they were alone together in the woods on a camping trip. So romantic! But I still got to meet them and take some amazing mountain photos of them, and we had a great time!

The drive up to Craggy the morning was insanely beautiful!  The clouds made it look like I was looking out to a huge lake. I have never seen it quite like that up there before. It definitely made for some really cool shots of them looking out to the view! I was loving it!

Andy and Shea plan to elope this summer out west! I wish I could be their photographer! 🙂 I am so happy that more and more people are choosing to Elope Outdoors! I used to only get to photograph a handful each year and now it has become more mainstream and lots of people are looking to get out in nature, and get married the way they really want to.  The focus is on the couple and their love and commitment.  You don’t have to worry about family drama, or talking to 100 people and not getting to eat your dinner on your wedding night. You can just BE with each other and BE in love! Yay! Elopements are the best!
