Working as an Asheville, NC Family Photographer is truly my dream job!  For this session I had the chance to work with Minnie and her family.  Minnie is one of my best friends from North Carolina State University.  We met right away in our freshman dorm, and we have remained friends ever since!

The Kang’s Destination Family Session

Recently Minnie and her family came to visit Asheville, and I was so honored to be able to do a family photo session with them during their time here.  We had so many picturesque locations to choose from, and I love having the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby as a backdrop.

The Kang family have three daughters, and they have such a close, tightknit bond between them.  Their sisterhood connection was evident the way they laughed and cared for one another.  Estella, the youngest, looks just like a little doll!  

I loved capturing the connections between each of the family members together as a unit and individually.  They were so playful with Estella making her laugh and giggle as only they can.  And a more mature love between the parents and the older girls as they move from sharing silly moments to sharing trust and guidance.  

Preserving the relationship among family is such an honor as I work as a connection photographer. I believe these photographs are sacred and will allow Minnie and her family to remember not only their vacation but also the love between them.
