Fifty years of marriage. Three generations. Four grandchildren. And one happy couple! The Boekman’s recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I was lucky enough to have been chosen to be their Asheville Family Photographer. What an honor!
The family gathered from around the country including Colorado, Kansas, and Tennessee to commemorate the occasion with some beautiful family portraits.

We gathered at the beautiful Biltmore estate in Asheville were the children were free to run and laugh. I was able to get some wonderful images of brother and sister, ages six and four, getting along and playing together. We captured a few photos of them alone to showcase their growing personalities. Of course, we captured some with mom and dad as well. Aren’t they a gorgeous family?!
The Boekman’s treasure the newest members of their family. The five-month old twins! Their faces lit up as they held these little ones in their arms, perhaps remembering their own children and how far they have come as a family.
We even snuck in a “funny face” picture. Quite the keeper, if you ask me!
