One of my favorite things about being a photographer is capturing the emotion between people in pictures. The way a mother looks at her baby, the laughter shared between families, or the fire in a couple’s eyes who are madly in love. Love, adoration, and excitement almost become tangible when captured in a session.
Celebrating a Fun Love
Cathy and Shawn were so fun to photograph. Their connection is amazing and their love is undeniable. We shot their engagement session on the grounds of Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The grounds are gorgeous and the views are stunning. I love that Cathy and Shawn chose casual attire because all the focus is on their sweet connection. It’s hard not to smile when you’re in the same space as these two lovebirds. They are the type of people that can have fun doing anything, as long as it’s together. There was no shortage of genuine smiles and laughter that day. Cathy and Shawn plan to have a small, intimate wedding in the near future, possibly in Asheville. I know this sweet couple will keep each other laughing long after they’ve said “I do”. They made it easy to do my job during their session, and it was such a joy capturing their love.
