Oh my goodness, this venue! It is absolutely stunning and an Asheville Wedding Photographer’s Dream! Rightfully so, it reminds me of a Scottish castle over looking the Highlands. Castle Ladyhawke is a gorgeous furnished home with stunning rock walls, a lovely garden and amazing mountain views, perfect for an intimate wedding. It felt like we were in a fairytale. Shelley and Brett were floating. They were relaxed and focused on having a good time. Since the wedding was smaller and more intimate they had less stress and more time to focus on each other and give their guests more individual time and attention.
Shelley and Brett’s First Look
Their first look was precious and the backdrop for the exchange was breath taking. The couple exchanged letters along with their loving glances. Since I was with them for the whole day we were able to get some really great pictures all around the grounds without feeling rushed. The whole day was all about everyone enjoying themselves and that was fully accomplished. Shelley and Brett’s wedding ceremony was very sweet and the were surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The live musicians were a great incorporation into their big day. It played right into the light and festive feel of the rest of the day. This beautiful couple planned a beautiful day that will forever be a wonderful memory and reminder of their love. From dressing, to dining and dancing, the day was filled with beautiful and happy memories.
