I feel so honored to have been the photographer for this summer camp wedding.  Like the bride and groom, Lutheridge is a special place for me.  I was a camper and the in college worked as a counselor for three years.  Nathan’s family, the groom, had a home in Lutheridge and he grew up there.  I remember seeing him as a little boy.  He is the third son for the camp directors, Pastor Tim and Mary, to hold a wedding at the gorgeous location.  I have been lucky enough to be the Asheville Wedding Photographer for all three.

Hunter and Nathan’s Sweet Story

Hunter and Nathan met as councelors at Lutheridge and thought it the perfect place to celebrate their union.  The excitement that the two had for their big day was electric.  Hunter was absolutely beautiful.  Her lace edged train was gorgeous and she could not wait to see Nathan for their first look.  He was blown away by his blushing bride.  The look on his face was absolutely adorable. Nathan was just as excited to show off how good he was looking for their big day.  He did a cute spin so Hunter could see from all angles.

Lutheridge Camp

The camp property is gorgeous, with a lake and sprawling, lush, green forest.  The ceremony was held in the adorable open air chapel.  I loved the relaxed atmosphere of their outdoor reception.  They used the pavilion to announce the bride and groom, and as a dance floor and had tents set up for eating and cake cutting.  Lutheridge was a very meaningful place for me growing up.  It impacted my life greatly, providing me with lots of special memories and friendships, ultimately inspiring me to move here myself.  So, I owe a lot to this camp and all it has done for me.
