Sometimes we meet people we are naturally drawn to, and Kayla and Andrew were definitely those people for me. This amazing couple came to Asheville for their 1st anniversary, and let me tell you – we had a fantastic time. These two are simply beautiful together, and super photogenic. But what I loved about them most was the loving and compassionate aura that they had. Being around them made me happy, as I’m sure they would light up any room that they walked into.
Their Sunrise Session at Black Balsam Knob
This session took place at Black Balsam Knob, and it was glorious. Photography is the study of light, and wow, did it work in our favor on this beautiful day! Sunrise sessions are always some of my favorite sessions due to the breath-taking beauty, but this one was spectacular. Nearly every single moment I captured has bright sun rays shining on or around Kayla and Andrew. The tall grasses and trees were also incredible as they allowed for these two to interact with them in such a beautiful way. We found this big tree that Kayla and Andrew stood in front of while snuggled up together. My heart swelled up with love when Andrew picked up his wife and set her on one of the branches of the tree. It was so romantic to see these two together surrounded by precious wildlife.
This was Kayla and Andrew’s first time to Asheville, and as you can imagine, they were eating it up! The gorgeous fall weather was perfect for a session, and we were surprised to still see the moon. We were able to capture some photos with the moon in the background, and I absolutely love the turnout! This session was filled with the perfect weather, scenery, and couple. I couldn’t have asked for a better day with Kayla and Andrew!
