Lasting friendship is such a blessing. Keeping a friend through the ups and downs of life, milestone moments, cross country moves and all the other events life throws our way, can make maintaining arelationship difficult, but not impossible. Lisa and Sheridan have managed to continue their friendship since middle school! Phone conversations and video chats certainly are a must for these two, but they make it a point to take a trip together once a year to catch up and spend quality time together. This year they were vacationing in Asheville, where I had the unique pleasure of capturing their friendship and the memories of this trip for them.

Besties at the Biltmore

I met them at the Biltmore one day, where they had passes to the estate as one of their travel experiences. It was the perfect place to capture their fun best friend session.  Life has distanced them physically, Lisa lives in California and Sheridan moved to Pennsylvania several years ago. Although they now live on opposite sides of the country from one another, it has only strengthened their friendship and commitment to maintain that relationship. They do their best to see each other as much as possible. They are adorable and truly just happy to be around each other! There was no shortage of laughter and they were not afraid to be serious and silly during their session. The smiles were contagious all day long. It is inspirational to see such a strong bond between long time friends. It seemed as if they have never spent a day apart. These two are just the cutest.
