Congratulations Rich and Shelby! I loved having the opportunity to do this surprise proposal for this special couple as their Biltmore Engagement Photographer! Rich wanted to propose on their visit to Asheville, and we chose this location where we had a great view of the Biltmore for the backdrop. This building is absolutely stunning, and created a perfect romantic atmosphere to pop the question! I have to say that I was relieved when no one was around when he dropped to one knee. Shelby’s reaction was priceless! You could see how happy and surprised she was! It was so special that I got to witness such exciting news!
About this Surprise Engagement
After the big surprised we walked around for a bit and got some fun shots of them together. We went to some beautiful places around the Biltmore house, and I just let them do their thing, so I could capture the purest form of happiness! It was so heartwarming to watch the two interact with each other, and their unbreakable bond was undeniable! Their favorite shot was of them setting on a bench surrounded by gorgeous greenery! I’m so happy I was able to capture this memory for them, and I know it’s something that they will cherish forever!
