This was a beautiful family elopement, packed full of the love that binds them all together. When we were trying to coordinate the big day, they expressed that they wanted to be married on Grandfather Mountain. Sadly, when the day came, the winds were just too crazy so we went on an adventure to find another perfect spot. We came across a stunning spot on a huge boulder nestled between cascading shade trees. What a stunning day it was for a wedding. The trees protected us from the high winds and provided a beautiful backdrop for their collection.
The whole family attended (hence the decision to switch locations). During the ceremony, Chris’ two kiddos came up for a devotional and they all gathered in a big embrace. What a touching moment! Capturing love that binds beautiful families just like this one brings me so much happiness as an elopement photographer.
Just because there aren’t 200 people in attendance, doesn’t diminish the importance of the love that binds two people. That’s why I LOVE elopements. The simplicity and raw beauty of two people in love. What an honor it was to document the vows shared on this stunning wedding day!
I got to capture the love of a Family Elopement at Grandfather Mountain and as an Elopement Photographer it was as beautiful as can be!:)
