Foggy Mountain Elopement ~ Asheville Elopement Photographer
Abigayl & James had a magical foggy mountaintop elopement at Roan Mountain in July! They booked through my elopement planning company, Elope Outdoors!
The fog was unexpected but these two embraced the weather and kept their good sense of humor with each other. In the end these photos are pretty magical!
These two are from Pinehurst, NC.
They met through mutual friends. James says he knew he was going to marry Abigayl the first time he saw her. They hung out for about a year before Abigayl realized she was attracted to her best friend. True romance!!
They’ve been together just over a year. Jimmie proposed by making Abigayl a jewelry rack that was on her Christmas list. When she opened it he purposed to her in our living room on Christmas Eve! Christmas is such a great time for proposals!
These two enjoy activities such as puzzles, disc golf, amateur carpentry, plants and gardening, anything outdoors, naps, and cooking. Also, the fine art of doing ~nothing~ (love that!!)
Why did they choose to get married in Asheville, and at Roan Mountain
They wanted a scenic and intimate day to celebrate just the two of them. “Elope Outdoors offered that with little stress.”
What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?
Jimmie: “All the smalls moments. I’m excited to leave as your husband.”
Abbey: I’m most excited to hear Jimmie’s vows and all the silly moments and laughs we’ll have.
