Brodie and Katie became friends at Wofford College. Brodie feel in love with Katie one summer on a mission trip to San Diego. Brodie moved to California a few months later for an internship, and was calling Katie twice a week for a year, hoping she would move there after graduation. She ended up moving there, and the second day she was there, Brodie finally got the chance to ask her on a date. Katie is from North Carolina, and feel in love with Mountain Magnolia Inn. It is the perfect venue for a beautiful southern mountain wedding. The ceremony took place under the shade of an enormous walnut tree with dozens of beautiful hanging candles.
