“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.” – Winnie the Pooh
Hi there! Amy here. I had the pleasure of photographing Jillian and Dillon’s wedding in Almond, NC, and wow – what an exciting and beautiful time. I have really grown fond of this couple after meeting them for only a short time. Their pure hearts and caring nature make me feel so at ease. I knew immediately that this was going to be a fun and care-free wedding, which made me so excited to be a part of it. Jillian and Dillon are both beautiful people and these pictures of their big day prove it!
These two decided to skip the big, extravagant venue and decided to get married in a field by Jillian’s parents’ house instead. This intimate location allows them to have free reign on focusing on each other, their guests, and the beautiful outdoors. They did an amazing job of setting up, as it was a simple, yet elegant wedding. I loved the altar that was built, along with the gorgeous wildlife that surrounded Jillian and Dillion as they said their vows. The weather was pleasant, such a beautiful spring day!
From the minute the couple started getting ready to the reception afterwards, this wedding was filled with positivity and fun. It was so refreshing to be a part of a relaxed wedding where everyone is happy and stress-free. They had fun games in the field that allowed the guests to kick back and enjoy each other. Endless laughter filled the air as everyone celebrated Jillian and Dillon’s new adventure in life. Congratulations to these two! May their life together be filled with many more amazing memories along the way!
I will always remember this beautiful day that I was able to be Jillian and Dillon’s Asheville Farm Wedding Photographer. If you need to capture your big day soon, let’s chat!
