One of my favorite things about being a family photographer is getting to watch little ones grow up throughout the years. Seeing as I see them once or twice a year, the changes are usually fairly drastic. I’m always shocked by how much they grow and how quickly they develop. Such was the case with the McCormick family this year. I’ve been honored to be their photographer since their sweet twins were newborns. We usually do a couple sessions a year and this time when I saw them, I was in shock of how grown up they looked! They’re at that age where they’re finally losing a little of their childish chubby cheeks, and their features are beginning to look less and less baby like and more and more childlike. This is always a bittersweet time as a parent. From personal experience, I know when my little ones started growing up, I missed their chubby baby rolls and the fact that they didn’t know how to say the word “no” yet. Ahhhh, those were the days! 😉
Beautiful Day For A Beautiful Family
We decided to meet the big field, filled to the brim with flowing grass and plenty of space for the twins to explore. They had so much fun playing games, giggling and snuggling with mom and dad. Some of my favorite shots where of the girls snuggling and pressing foreheads together. What a touching representation of motherhood. Getting to see and work with this family again was an absolute joy.
Thank you to the McCormick family for allowing me to capture these memories for you. Until next time!
