Celebrating Lindsey and Jeffrey

I loved getting to know Lindsey and Jeffrey during our pre-wedding consultation. They explained they had met at Wingate University, North Carolina where they were both members of the swim and dive team. Jeffrey had proposed on Christmas morning, presenting the ring to Lindsey as one of her gifts. Of course she said yes!

The couple chose Whitehead Manor Conference Center in Charlotte as their venue. Lindsey had grown up in the area, and her parents continue to live in this beautiful city. Upon graduating college and deciding where to start their lives together, they knew it was important to them that they be close to family. This venue afforded them a gorgeous celebration with a less formal atmosphere complete with a country porch, a large patio for dancing, and market lights strung after the sun had set.

A Fun Love

Both Lindsey and Jeffrey explained they are very active and have many common interests such as working out, boot camps, running, and spending time relaxing with their pup, visiting local breweries, and sampling craft beers. You could immediately sense the special bond in their relationship during their wedding both with each other, the tender moments with family, and the fun they had with friends. They are a down to earth couple with solid values and just pure joy for life!

As I was editing these photos I was so jealous my associate photographer, Amy, had the opportunity to spend the day with Lindsey and Jeffrey. These pictures look like everyone had such a fun time! Amy has been a blessing to me as my associate; she loves the photography piece, but not so much the business side. I like both! I edit all of our images in my style, so there is a consistent finished look for my clients.

The best part of the day for these two? “Celebrating each other with friends and family. We really just want this day to be a big party with all of our closest friends and family.”
