There are endless possibilities with different themes, color palettes, and designs, and there is such a feeling of accomplishment when all your hard work comes together.

A Perfect Autumn Affair

Melinda and Tim planned their wedding on their property on Lake James. They haven’t built their home yet, but they knew the land there would be the perfect location for a fall wedding with stunning mountain views. Melinda and her bridesmaids got ready at a beautiful home nearby on Lake James. The bridesmaids wore a gorgeous deep red hue that matched the couches, linens, and floral arrangements set up on Melinda and Tim’s property. All the fall foliage and hints of gold really brought everything together beautifully for a perfect autumn affair.

The bride and groom shared a sweet first look, and then joined their 50 guests for an intimate wedding ceremony. The freestanding chimney at the center of the reception was the spot where Tim proposed to Melinda.. With nearly everything DIY, these sweet newlyweds will have some awesome mementos to commemorate their wedding for years to come. And how amazing is it that they get to lay the foundation for a home in the very spot they said their vows and laid the foundation for their marriage? I feel so honored to have been able to capture the memories Melinda and Tim will look back on with fondness for years to come.
