Oh, I just LOVE Stephanie and Christian’s story. As an elopement photographer, I have such a heart for these kinds of love stories. When Stephanie reached out to me she told me, “We have kind of a weird story. We had our official wedding in September of last year but what our families don’t know is that we had eloped in Denver on July 4, our 4 year anniversary. We wanted something simple, romantic, natural, and completely us. A big wedding was never our bag but we did it for our families. Now we’re coming up on our 1 year of marriage and 5 years together and I want to do something special. While we did have a friend of a friend shoot a few images of the elopement, and we have formal portraits from our “official” wedding, I would really love to recreate the day that I married my soulmate”
Two Hearts Bound To Each Other
Ummm, swoon! It’s sessions like this that make my heart explode with excitement. Love doesn’t have to be a huge production. It can be two hearts, bound to each other, never wanting to spend another day apart. It can be a passing glance that tells an entire story. Such is the love that Stephanie and Christian share. The fact that they chose me to help capture the re-creation of the day their two hearts became one is an incredible honor.
Not only is she absolutely stunning, but Stephanie is an up-and-coming floral artis, hoping to open her own shop. She created the beautiful arrangement here and her and Christian created the birch wood wedding arbor together. Gorgeous! These two sure do make an awesome team.
