This was one of the most fun almost-elopements I’ve ever done. Aqueelah and Jamon originally planned to elope with us at Elope Outdoors, but then they decided to have a larger wedding with the friends and family. They ended up getting the best of both worlds by scheduling an engagement session with us in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We visited Craggy Pinnacle Hike with views from the Blue Ridge Parkway to get these stunning images. I am so in love with how these turned out!
On this glorious summer day, the sunlight was spectacular! It got a little bright at times. Then, the clouds rolled over the mountains allowing a few rays through as brilliant spotlights – pure perfection! The yellow wildflowers and radiant light matched Aqueelah and Jamon’s playful, life-loving personality perfectly! It was like this day and this spot were created just for them.
She wore a lovely white-lace gown for a little extra bridal glow (she still kept the super cute hiking boots), but the smile on her face said it all. These two couldn’t be more in love. It’s impossible to keep a straight face around them, and I loved how they made each other crack up over and over again! I think it’s safe to say that they know how to have a good time together, and they really are the best of friends. What an inspiring couple! They twirled, dipped, and laughed the session away, but I can’t forget to mention their stunning traditional portraits. In the more serious moments, their romantic shots were phenomenal! I especially love the ones on the trail among the trees and winding roots. Aqueelah and Jamon are certainly going to turn heads on their wedding day!
Congratulations, you two! Much love, and we wish you the very best!
