Beth & Zach

When you find your soul mate, falling hard is a beautiful thing. Beth, a horse lover, jumped at the opportunity to take care of the horses at a summer camp in North Carolina. She packed up and left sunny Florida for the gorgeous blue ridge mountains. Not long after getting settled, she met Zach, who was working on the maintenance staff. Their eyes locked and sparks flew. They fell hard for each other, and she ended up staying there permanently. Her heart found home.

They’ve only been together a little over a year, but this serendipitous meeting was meant to be. One day, they went with another couple to Jump Off Rock. As they were taking pictures atop the rock, he pulled out his Nana’s engagement ring and proposed. She, of course, answered with a resounding, “Yes!”

They are getting married this fall – next month! – and they are counting down the days. They will be tying the knot at thePretty Place, and the reception with be at their family farm. After this breathtaking and fun-filled engagement session, Amy can’t wait to shoot their wedding day. Their engagement reflects their personality perfectly. These two live life outdoors, so we took these pictures at their family horse farm, a gorgeous property filled with green pastures, gentle horses, and enchanting forest. They even brought along their favorite pupper!

He enjoys farming and anything agriculture – he has quite the green thumb! – and she loves taking care of the animals. They’re a perfect pair! When I asked what they liked to do together, she laughed and said, “I don’t know if this counts as a hobby or what, but we really enjoy mowing the lawn together!” When you’re with the one you love, even mowing the lawn becomes a fun hobby instead of a chore! May we all find the one with want to mow the lawn with. 😉
