I want to take a minute to talk to all the mamas out there. Think back to those final few months of your pregnancy. Those times when it finally hit to you, reality sinks in. You are about to be entirely responsible for the well-being and development of another human life. It’s no small feat! Thankfully there are many who welcome the responsibility of motherhood with open arms, embracing the beautiful changes and adjustments that inevitably accompany this phase of your life. Such was the case with sweet Jessica here. Her and her husband Jack, accompanied by their dog Tucker, had an absolutely stunning outdoor maternity session here in Asheville. I love that they incorporated their first baby, seeing as our pups are just as much a part of the family is the rest of us!

They aren’t sure whether they are having a girl or a boy yet, but whatever the gender, they are sure to be stunning just like their mom and dad. I love that we were able to incorporate natural elements into the session, highlighting the organic beauty of the changes that an expectant mama’s body undergoes. Jessica has certainly welcomed motherhood with grace, poise and beauty. I can’t wait to see them again once they’re little bundle of joy has arrived!
