I love small, intimate weddings as an Asheville, NC Wedding Photographer. The couple really gets to enjoy the day and have time to speak to everyone. Christine & Joseph are originally from Charlotte, but planned a destination wedding Asheville. The had shared with me the vision for their day was small and simple. But they were sure to keep it very elegant. Sara of Wedding Connections help to make sure everything was perfect for their wedding day. Christine and Joseph had so many special touches such as the rustic hand-painted signs, herbs, colorful flowers, and a great sense of humor!
Watching Love Grow
I was fortunate enough to meet with them a few weeks prior to their wedding as we did their engagement photos together. These were done at Graveyard Fields Loop Trail off the Parkway, where we were able to get gorgeous fall color.
Watching everyone getting ready with Christine and her closest family and friends was so much fun. The little ones certainly brought a smile to my face as they dressed and twirled and twirled making their full tulle skirts circle around them! Their wedding took place at the Mountain View Terrace and the Skyline Room
They had an early mid-day ceremony, and then served a very nice lunch catered by Underhill Rose. The selection of the Grove Park Inn offered spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and lush vistas nestled in between. The property offered natural photo opportunities under a canopy of arching trees and quiet little grooves in the forest. So perfect for the First Look and those intimate portraits of the couple together just quietly reflecting on the day and their love for one another. Justin was so sweet helping to clean her dress hem from the dried leaves that gathered around her as we walked through the forest! I had to take a photo as I felt it was so symbolic of his commitment to care for her during their life they were beginning together!
These two are a very sweet couple and I was honored to be a part of their special day.
