Asheville Proposal Photographer | Christmas Tree Farm Surprise Proposal
Sam is a super creative and thoughtful guy. He came up with the most adorable way to propose to his girlfriend, Alex. He wanted to think of a fun and unique way to pop the question over the holiday season, something outdoorsy and unexpected. I must say, as a holiday lover myself, this has to be one of my favorite proposals I have captured to date.
They had plans to travel to Asheville to visit friends, their final destination being Raleigh to see family for the holidays. He came up with the idea of proposing at Frost Mountain Christmas Tree Farm in Marshall, North Carolina. I was so excited to watch and help his vision unfold and capture the moment for the cute couple.
Sam’s Sweet Surprise
Sam mailed me a burlap bow and a hand painted ornament with their faces and the question, “Will you marry me”? I placed it on the tree he had picked out two and a half weeks prior. He made the three and a half hour drive in from Virginia to make sure he had the perfect tree for the perfect proposal. Can you say determination?
When he and Alex got to the tree farm, they spent some time exploring. My heart started to race as they finally came to “the one”. I was so excited! I can only imagine what he must have been feeling! He got down on one knee and asked Alex to spend the rest of her life with him. Quickly, his question was answered with a resounding, YES! She was so excited and happy! With a guy as thoughtful and sweet as Sam, who wouldn’t be?!
Perks of Proposal Photography
I love being able to be a part of proposal and engagement photography. It is such a sweet moment for a couple and something you want to be able to look back at together. Having a photographer there to capture the moment is a special detail that would not be over looked in the planning process. Sam did a great job.
