Sarah and John are so dear to my heart! One reason I love my job so much is because of the amazing clients I am able to keep in touch with over time. Sarah and John purchased the
motherhood package, which includes maternity and newborn sessions. I enjoyed every minute with this couple during their maternity session, and was so excited to work with them again. There is nothing sweeter than being able to document pregnancy and then newborn! Meeting little Cullen John was such a highlight of my year.
A Gorgeous Growing Family
Capturing motherhood is something I enjoy a lot. It is such a special time, and brings back so many memories of my own experiences. My first time meeting this family was during their maternity session. We did an outside session at
Lake Tomahawk in Black Mountain. It was a beautiful day allowing for a fun and relaxing time. They brought their doggie along, which I was so excited about! I am a total dog lover, so I never complain when one joins in on a session. These two were so in love, and couldn’t wait for their baby boy to arrive!
For the newborn session, we took photos in their home. Home sessions allow for the maximum comfort of a newborn and family, as they don’t have to go out of their way to pack up, get in the car, and go somewhere. We all know how much of a struggle this can be, so I like to dodge these inconveniences if possible. Cullen is the cutest little guy, making funny faces and smiling throughout the day. I love that I got them laughing. He also gave us some adorable little yawns that had us all cooing. The weather was pretty warm, so we were able to go outside for a few photos! Changing up the scenery was nice, as it gave our little client plenty of sensory experiences. Grandma hopped in a few photos as well, since she was in town helping Sarah with the baby. I had such a fun time with Cullen John, and can’t wait to spend some more time with him as he continues to grow up!
What an amazing day it was being Sarah and Johns Asheville Newborn Lifestyle Photographer. Watching Sarah grow through motherhood has been such a joy!
