Meet Lyndie and Ameer, two amazing parents-to-be that I had the pleasure of photographing! This couple traveled to Asheville from Florida for their ‘babymoon’ and Lyndie’s 35th birthday. They are expecting a little one very soon, and want to document this special time in their lives. A new baby brings so much happiness and love to a family, and it is obvious that Lyndie and Ameer are no exception. These two are beyond joyful to welcome their child into their home, and it is so inspiring to see and capture these moments for them.

Elegant Display of Motherhood

Lyndie is beyond gorgeous – a true dream to photograph. She has the prettiest features that light up every room, every field, every mountain top. She glows beautifully with her baby bump. She captivates the camera, and we didn’t end up with one bad photo. Chek out the combination of her blue dress and blue eyes with the backdrop of the Blue Ridge mountains, stunning! Ameer is such a relaxed guy and enjoyed watching his wife in the beautiful motherhood poses. He is also so fun when involved in the photos; I especially love the ones where they are laughing together. He’s got a romantic side, and lets that show in the photos as well. How genuine is it when he holds her face and looks into the eyes of this soon to be mother? Swoon!

There is nothing better than photographing pregnancy, and motherhood in general. Being a mother is something to celebrate. It is life’s true miracle, and there is nothing more beautiful than preparing for and welcoming a child into your home. It is a remarkable time in life and is worth documenting with photographic art!
