Asheville Outdoor Photographer | Mountain Elopement

I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. Elopements are my absolute favorite! No fluff, no drama. Just two hearts so deeply in love, all they need is each other. That’s what drove me to open my love project, Elope Outdoors. So often, I see brides and grooms get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day that they’ve been planning and pouring over for 16 months (understandably), that they sometimes forget the true reason that’s bringing them together. Elopements are a whole different game. The true sole focus is simply on the promise and commitment these two hearts are willing to make to each other. To love and cherish, in sickness and in health, till death do them part. Nothing is more beautiful than that vow.

So Simple So Elegant

Rachel and Scott were joined by Kimper, their sweet little man as their shared their vows with each other. Ladies, let’s talk about Rachel’s dress for a minute. Just…wow!! Just because you’ve decided on an elopement, doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice anything in the gown and décor department (as you can clearly see from this stunning event). She had one of the most stunning gowns I have ever seen in my many years as an Asheville elopement photographer. Layer tulle and sheer lace sleeves accented her stunning figure perfectly. The only thing more beautiful was the smile she wore on her face.

As she walked her way to Scott, his face instantly lit up. Who could blame him though?! They were married at an adorable little chapel open to the public, St. Jude’s Chapel of Hope. Our officiant Michael led them through their ceremony, doing an amazing job, as usual! Flourish came through with the floral elements. Doing an absolutely stellar job, as they always do! The yummy cake was made and designed by WhiskAVL. Delicious!! Just like the rest of their beautiful, intimate, wedding day.
