Christina and Tyler’s rustic outdoor wedding was absolutely breathtaking. The Lodge at Bear River, in Hot Springs, North Carolina, was the perfect venue to showcase their love for each other. It suited the nature loving couple idyllically. Their big day was showered with beautiful florals and natural elements. From the traditional wedding party flowers to floral crowns, as well as donning the cake. The property was filled with fields of abundant wild flowers, which was the perfect backdrop for their couples portraits.
A Natural Love
Christina looked gorgeous in her fitted gown with lace sleeves and sweet heart neck line. Tyler was smitten with his gorgeous bride the instant he saw her. I think this is one of my top favorite aspects of being a wedding photographer. Getting to witness and capture the look in the groom’s eyes as he sees his bride for the first time is priceless. Speaking of first looks, the other man in her life, her proud dad, was blown away by her beauty as well. The parents of these two could not have been more thrilled with the choice in partner that their children made. Everyone was all smiles on their wedding day.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for an outdoor wedding. The sun was shining and the colors of the trees and grass were vibrant, making for a great backdrop to the bride and groom and the pops of purple donned by their wedding party. They had the most adorable flower girls and ring bearer. These kids stole the hearts of everyone. I stole the bride and groom away from the rest of the group for a little while and we explored nature together, capturing some amazing images of them.
A Stunning Setting
My heart burst in joy as I was editing the images of them near the spring that ran through the property and the field of daisies. As you can clearly see, it made for a stunning setting. One of the best parts of being an Asheville Outdoor Wedding Photographer is the beauty that North Carolina has to offer. I was thrilled to be a part of this fabulous couple’s big day.
