Ryan and Drew are two newlyweds that I had the absolute honor of working with. These folks have a beautiful love story, and topped it all off with an amazing wedding! Ryan and Drew are so dear to my heart, as they were so kind and welcoming to me on their big day. I am so happy to have been able to document such special moments for them!
A Gorgeous Venue for a Gorgeous Day
This wedding took place at Pine Hollow. It is actually a VRBO but is used for weddings often. In fact, I have photographed a few weddings here before, and was pleased to be back! This home served as a beautiful venue for Ryan and Drew. It is the perfect mix between rustic and modern, leaving guests in awe as they arrive! There is plenty of wildlife around the house, including a pond with a breath-taking little waterfall/stream. Drew’s boys had fun jumping and swimming in the water. It is such a fun, yet calming place to be!
Ryan & Drew were a couple several years ago, and broke up, and then eventually realized they were made for each other and they got back together and got married! It was truly meant to be. Their wedding was intimate with mostly family and a few friends. Because loved ones are so important to the couple, their wedding’s main focus was family. I loved how they incorporated as many loved ones as possible, leaving such a personal touch to the entire day. Drew’s sons and their nieces and nephews were part of the wedding, they had their friends’ band play, and their friend was the officiant. I loved their hand-fastening ceremony where each fabric represented them and the boys.
