Oh, the Mokaya’s! This family stole my heart the minute I met them, and I was so honored to work with them on such a beautiful day. I had the pleasure of working with this awesome family in the past, and was thrilled to photograph them again. I captured their first anniversary photos, which allowed me to really get to know this couple. It is so fun to see a family expand right in front of my eyes! There is nothing more special than forming relationships and bonds with some of the most incredible people. The Mokaya’s are no exception, as they are such stunning, kind souls.

A Motherhood Dream

Mom and Dad brought their son along to join the maternity session, and what a cutie he was! The sweet baby boy was simply adorable, and had me swooning the whole time I was around him. It was hard to resist the urge to want to snuggle him the whole time we were together! Babies will be babies, and this little guy was a tough one to get to smile. But once he did,  it was the best smile I’d seen in a while! Is it even possible to get cuter than that?! 

This session took place in the Biltmore conservatory in the gardens. It is a beautiful location filled with breath-taking wildlife. We went outside for the rest of the photos, and it’s safe to say that we couldn’t have picked a better place! The Biltmore conservatory is a must-see, and was the perfect backdrop for such a precious family.

The Mokaya’s are so sweet and a pleasure to work with. I have a special place in my heart for these folks, and hope to see them again soon! Their children are so blessed to have such loving and supportive parents. May they be blessed with many wonderful adventures as they welcome a new child into their lives!
