Wowzas! This was the most perfect fall color day that Aaron chose to propose to his love, Nasvi.  They have been together for many years, and even have a child together. They came up to Asheville from the Wilmington area, where they have recently moved, and had a little romantic fall weekend getaway. Aaron thought it would be the perfect time to propose!

Aaron wanted something epic for Nasvi, and I can say that I think he chose the absolute perfect spot!  We planned for a morning proposal, and my drive on the Blue Ridge parkway that morning was blowing me away. I had my baby the previous December, and I hadn’t been taking many shoots, especially not many far from home. So this was quite a treat for me! I was so pumped to be out in the mountains with this insanely beautiful fall color.

It was pretty windy up there, but Nasvi handled it well, and I just love wind in the hair photos! So fun!

Nasvi was so happy and surprised to see Aaron kneeling down to ask her to marry him. It was such a sweet, romantic and epic moment in the Blue Ridge mountains!

I just love photographing proposals! I love the surprise aspect, the anticipation, the uncertainty of exactly how it will go and just the pure raw emotion of observing and capturing a moment like this for two people.
