Being this family’s lifestyle newborn session photographer made my heart sing! I just love seeing parenthood in its truest form. Even in through the sleepless nights and constant feedings, family has a way of bringing life and its own special kind of energy that keeps us going.
When parents look down on those squishy newborn cheeks as their little one sleeps soundly in their arms, or when they hear those sweet uncontrollable giggles erupt during a tickle fight, they have everything they need right there in their arms. They might need four cups of coffee to get through the day, but watching their kids play or sharing a sweet moment in the rocker at 3am is so worth it.
Meet the Family
Mackenzie & Harold are friends of mine, and it is such an honor to be able to capture these life milestones for them. It’s been amazing to watch their family grow. I remember shooting Mackenzie’s maternity session and their oldest daughter Veda’s newborn session so vividly, and I can’t believe their second beautiful daughter is already here.
Adele Jean already has my heart, just like the rest of her family. They didn’t find out the sex with either pregnancy, and it was so exciting to hear the news when each girl was born. This peek into their in home life with their baby girls was such a sweet experience.
Veda, although just two years old, is so excited to be a big sister. She is as careful and loving as she knows how to be to baby Adele. I can’t wait to watch them grow up together! Sisters share such a special bond, and I know it will grow even stronger with each passing year – at least until they are arguing over the bathroom. 😉
I love this family so much, and I can’t wait for their next milestone session – I know it’ll be here before we know it! Welcome home, sweet Adele Jean!
