Sometimes you meet people that you just click with, and Drue and John are those kind of people! I have been photographing their love story for a while now, and working with these two never gets old. When I first met them, I photographed their wedding, family portraits, Drue’s maternity, and now have been honored to come into their home and capture them with their first born, Jameson. He is such a cutie and I was so excited to meet him for the first time. Little Jameson is everything his family wanted – and more!
Making this House His Home
We had a relaxed session in their home as they fed him, changed him, rocked him and just hung out with the dogs in the bed. I love capturing the family at home with their new baby, in a relaxed and natural way. Home sessions are the best, as you can capture those relaxed and raw moments that are hard to get in a studio or outside. These three were so laid back and welcoming, and I appreciate the kindness they showed as I entered their home.
We had a blast together, and I was loving the adorableness of the session. Dogs and babies are too cute! There is nothing better than spending your day with such sweet little things. As much as I loved the puppies, my favorite part of the session was seeing the love shared between Drue, John, and Jameson. Drue and John are more in love than they have ever been. Their passion for their son is undeniable, and you can see the bond they share in each photo. They are such a sweet little family! Jameson is such a good baby, and didn’t seem to mind me in his home, snapping photos. He has the cutest features. I love his little fingers and toes! Congratulations to Drue and John on their new addition to their family!
