Some may not know this, but on top of being one of the premier North Carolina elopement and wedding photographers, I am also a destination photographer. This time around, my adventures landed me in Fryeburg, Maine.
It Was Meant To Be
Chelsea and Nick live in Virginia Beach, VA. He is originally from Vermont, and she lived in the White Mountains of North Carolina, so natural beauty has always been a part of their lives. Seeing as he is in the Navy, he wore his dress blues which matched her flowing gown perfectly. The plunging neckline and lace accents were the perfect fit for her classic beauty and personality.
I’ve always loved learning about the love stories that bring two hearts together. Chelsea met Nick through her sister, who just so happens to be married to Nick’s best friend, Nate. They are both in the Navy together and are stationed in Virginia Beach. I can only imagine how amazing the relationship between these two couples must be. To have two sisters married to two best friends, it certainly sounds like a recipe for a beautiful future together filled with friendship and support.
Speaking of Nate, he stepped in as their officiant. He made sure it was a very funny ceremony and kept everyone laughing. Although I am her photographer, I am also Chelsea’s cousin. Witnessing the love that her and Nick share, and capturing that love from behind my lens was truly a beautiful honor I wont soon forget. Thank you guys for letting me be a part of your big day!!
