Motherhood Session in Asheville | Nikita & Nishant

I don’t know of anything that can outshine the glow of an expecting mother. Even the majestic blue ridge mountains and grand Biltmore Estate pale in comparison to the joy that exudes from two excited parents awaiting the arrival of their first baby.

Nikita and Nishant came to Asheville for a babymoon and wanted to get some maternity and announcement photos while they were here. They are having a little girl. They are both in the medical field, and they told me when they saw the ultrasound they both knew right away it was a girl. And after photographing these two, I imagine this little girl is going to be a beauty!

I am so happy they found me and booked a session with me! We met at the Biltmore Estate, and since Nakita was still feeling so good, we had fun exploring the grounds. A couple days into their babymoon, they both looked so relaxed, rejuvenated, and in love. They were so easy to photograph – capturing Nikita’s beautiful laugh was my favorite, and Nishant knew just what to say to make her to smile. They were so sweet together prancing in the tall grass and flowers. This was one of the most carefree, laidback maternity sessions I’ve done in a while.

When Nikita started to get a little tired, we took a break and got some stunning photos in front of the mountains. So peaceful! I truly had a blast with this lovely couple, and I hope to be able to take family photos of them on their next visit to Asheville – I love meeting those sweet little babies!
