How lucky am I to live so close to such beauty?! Whether my sessions take place in the mountains or on the grand Biltmore Estate grounds, I’m surrounded by beauty constantly. Even so, it never stops surprising me just how incredible my surroundings truly are.
Love Laughter and Romance
We headed to the Biltmore Estate to capture Chloe and Ben’s surprise proposal. Ben was planning on proposing to his love for quite a while, and finally got his chance for a romantic proposal on their trip to Asheville. We wanted to be away from the crowds, to allow for some privacy. Whenever possible, I try to steal my clients away for this special moment. The pressure of on-looking strangers can be quite intimidating after all!
Chloe was so incredibly excited. As always, it was so much fun to watch and capture. Once he dropped down to one knee, and she said yes (of course), it was time to capture their first session as an engaged couple. We traveled around the grounds stopping whenever they wanted to capture a few shots.
My favorites from this session were of the pretty sunset mountain shots we got at the end. Ben and Chloe are so much fun and completely adorable together. It was an absolute pleasure to capture their special day. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them! If this first session is any indicator, I have a good feeling their future will be filled with quiet tender moments and plenty of laughter.
