Asheville Elopement Photographer | Mountaintop Elopement

This elopement was one of the dreamiest we’ve ever seen. It makes me think of a brighter version of Wuthering Heights, as the bride and groom danced freely over the moors – or over Roan Mountain, rather.

Ginny and Mike scheduled an ultimate package with us an still eloped just the two of them, but with all of the extras. What better time to go all out than for your marriage?! it was truly a magical evening. We got swept away right along with them.

He was her tall and handsome cowboy in his dark suit and cowboy hat, and her dress was unlike anything we’ve ever seen: gorgeous lace sleeves, deep V neckline, and bohemian skirt. Wow!

Not to mention that their vows were the sweetest I have ever heard. Even with the breeze blowing, I couldn’t keep my eyes dry. (Here I go again, even as I write about it.) I am so happy they got a highlight video of their elopement so their words to each other are documented forever.

After their ceremony and lots of incredible bridal portraits and couple’s shots up on the mountain, they had plenty of time to enjoy a beautiful cake and bubbly toast – Mike shook the champagne, and it went everywhere. They were loving it! This is what elopements are all about. Wear what you want. Say what you want. Do what you want. Every moment is yours. And these two took the time to really soak it all in without a care in the world. Their celebration of love was so authentic!

As it got later, we had a gorgeous sunset. They danced and danced under the bright orange glow until it faded into the horizon, and then they walked off down the trail together hand in hand, ready for their next adventure as husband and wife.
