Don’t you just love when plans come together perfectly?! When it comes to engagement and Surprise Proposal Photography, often we have to roll with the punches. If plans change, we have to be able to modify, and rise above. But no adjustments were needed on this perfect North Carolina day! Everything worked out perfectly, and as you can clearly see from the collection below, it was all smiles from the first hello to the last wave goodbye.
Jonathan planned to propose to his girlfriend, Jennifer, but didn’t quite know how to pull it off while capturing the perfect images and maintaining the element of surprise. Queue Meghan Rolfe Photography! As soon as he contacted us, I knew my associate, Amy, was the perfect lady for the job.

Jonathan and Jennifer have an adorable little pup that of course had to be included in the session. After all, our fur-babies are often our first borns, are they not? He told Jennifer that they were going to have a family portrait session taken, (which was partly true). Half way through the session, Jonathan, bent down on one knee, and popped the ever-so-important question.
Of course, she quickly replied with a happy nod, bent down alongside him and sealed her response with a kiss. It was the perfect day, with the perfect backdrop, and the perfect newly engaged couple. Congratulations to this happy couple. I can only imagine what beauty is in store for their future.
